My goal as a fantasy player is to prepare for the upcoming baseball and football seasons. I have over 20 years of experience in the high-stakes fantasy market in a wide variety of game formats. Over the past decade, I’ve worked as a writer/analyst for Sports Draft Daily, ScoutPro, Scout, Scout Fantasy, Fulltime Fantasy, FFToolbox, and Sports Illustrated Fantasy. I’m a member of the National Fantasy Baseball Championship Hall of Fame.

I try to work my way through the player pool with a neutral eye with a risk-averse approach to my draft style. I’m willing to place my bets on players I view as difference-makers while also understanding that I won’t get everything right. Fantasy sports are humbling games as injuries, underperformance, and even manager’s decisions can derail a team from a cashing position, never mind the mistakes in-season in team management by drafters.

My work is geared toward three areas - season-long fantasy baseball and football plus the DFS market at DraftKings and FanDuel. These are the games I expect to play each year: NFBC, NFFC, RTSports, FFPC, Football Guys, DraftKings, Underdog Fantasy, FanDuel, and FFWC.

Here’s my expected yearly schedule:

January/February - 30 MLB team outlooks/Player Projections/Roto Strategy Articles

March - Breakouts/Fades/Sleepers/Deep Sleepers ~ Cheat Sheets with ADPs and FPGscores plus other high-stakes articles. I'll be in Las Vegas for the final two weeks of March to bet my opinion/research in the NFBC. In addition, I'll mix in some season-long player props and possible futures on team wins and season awards (ROY, MVP, and CY).

The additional work of adding videos and placing player profiles on the notes tab and Twitter led to the foundation of my team research taking about two weeks longer than expected in 2024. Therefore, I didn’t reformat the player pool into breakout, fade, and sleeper categories as I planned. In 2025, I must start earlier with my baseball work, which will be challenging due to my football work.

The only Baseball in-season content (Bullpen Report and Waiver Wire), due to 70% of my time switching to football in early May.

April—I flip my football spreadsheet to the upcoming season and update the depth charts for all 32 teams. I also like to do the scouting research/articles for the QB, RB, WR, and TE positions for the top players expected to be drafted in late April.

May/June - I'll do the full team outlooks for all 32 NFL teams (between three and four per week) over a nine-week stretch. My goal is to have this content done by July 1st.

July—I will release my first set of projections and cheat sheets. I will also post my fantasy points per position article for QBs, RBs, WRs, TEs, Ks, and DEF. I will also Release Breakout, fade, sleeper, and deep sleeper articles. I will review drafts in the high-stakes market and write about ADPs at various fantasy sites.

August—I will add weekly updates to projections and provide camp news for trending or fading players. My draft season starts this month. I'll do some draft reviews while also releasing the projections and DFS content for Week 1 of the NFL season.

***From August 15th through the end of the month, I’ll be working on Week 1 content and reviewing drafts at various sites.

September/October/November/December - Weekly Projections late Tuesday night, QB, RB, WR, and TE reports Wednesday through Saturday. A second projections update will be provided later in the week.
