2026 Fantasy Baseball: Cheat Sheet and Baseball Guide (375 Player Profiles)
Over the past seven weeks, I’ve been researching and writing about the upcoming 2026 player pool. Here’s what I’ve done so far: 25 catchers, 25 first basemen, 25 second basemen, 25 third basemen, 25 shortstops, 90 outfielders, 5 DHs, 120 starting pitchers, and 35 relief pitchers. I won’tbe writing about any players for the next week or so.
I’ve added blue links to all these players to the 2026 Shawn Childs Fantasy Baseball Cheat Sheet Worksheet to be viewed in my Notes section on Substack. This weekend, I’ll highlight some players for different categories to help the Fantasy On Si team push out breakout, sleeper, fades, values, and etc, players next week while I work on the projections (takes about eight days).
I will add each team’s starting projections to the cheat sheet as I go. The first run is always a baseline to get a feel for each team’s core players. I’ll update them multiple times in March.
For any paid subscriber (request required) looking to view all the players in one document, here’s the link to the Google Doc (2026 Shawn Childs Fantasy Baseball Guide). I updated an injury note line at the backend of the players who have recent news (highlighted in red).
After I finish with the projections, I’ll push out my cheat sheet, followed by a deep swing through the bullpens. I’ll write about a few more players when I can fit them in.
