2024 Steamer Projections (FPGscores and Auction Prices)
2024 Steamer Projections (FPGscores and Auction Prices)
I’m about three weeks into my 2024 Fantasy Baseball research. I'm trailing my usual schedule by a week or so, putting me on pace to finish all 30 team previews by the end of February. After that, I’ll do my first run of my projections (which takes about eight days).
I pulled the steamer projections to give the early drafters some data that is sorted by FPGscores, along with a column to sort by auction prices (use 12-team targets). I left the formulas so users could change the split percentage between hitting and pitching to their liking. Note: set at about 69/31 with the opening numbers. Look under tab AL for hitting (highlighted in green) and AO for pitching (highlighted in green) to make adjustments.
Note: I’m leaving this spreadsheet restricted for my subscribers. Anyone who is interested must ask me to view the Google Sheet. I will allow everyone to view it.
***As for the team previews, I’ve shown what I’m trying to accomplish with my research. I need your support to commit to this as a full-time job. Therefore, the remaining teams will go behind the paywall except for the lead-ins for the articles.
I will continue to place player profiles under notes to help reach new users in the Substack world. In addition, I have been posting pictures of these profiles on my Twitter page (@Shawn__Childs) to attract eyeballs. The pictures will fall into the media section to help when the fantasy market is looking for players via searches. The YouTube content (CCs Desperados) should improve over time (learning curve and limited time).
Once I get through the projections, I will have highlighted cheat sheets, and I want to do video content to review drafts.
I appreciate anyone who has found me over the past month by my postings and anyone who has supported me since I started this in early May. Depending on my subscriber base, I’ll decide what to do for baseball during the season. My football team research starts after the NFL draft, giving me an open window in April to work on spreadsheets.
