2024 NFL Week 9 Depth Charts, Projections, and Cheat Sheets (Updated ~ 11/2 @ 1:30 PM)
The above link is free for all to view in Week 9 of the 2024 NFL season. I will overwrite this document when I update and add the time and date of the changes. Remember, I’m making projections that come out as rankings. They will help with some start/sit decisions as the back end of your roster, but the difference in a winning play tends to fall on who scores the touchdowns each week. I ride my star players to a fault, with the goal of drafting a team with the least number of lineup decisions, which isn’t easy due to injuries and coaches controlling each player’s playing time.
Downgrades from my last projections:
Jonathon Brooks, CAR
His 2024 debut is pushed back another week.
Adam Thielen, CAR
The Panther ruled him out this week.
Zack Moss, CIN
Cincinnati downgraded Moss this week, giving Chase Brown the keys to a high-volume opportunity in Week 9.
Noah Fant, SEA
Rookie AJ Barner should start for the Seahawks against the Rams, with Fant battling a groin issue.
DK Metcalf, SEA
Seattle has a bye next week, leading to them giving Metcalf another week off to recover from his knee injury.
Tyjae Spears, TEN
He won’t play against the Patriots.
Saints Backfield
Jamaal Williams and Kendre Miller won’t suit up vs. the Panthers, thrusting Alvin Kamara to the top of the running back rankings in Week 9. Jordan Mims assumes the RB2 role for New Orleans, but I expect Taysom Hill to secure the second-most rushing attempts and potentially snipe a score on the ground.
Jerome Ford, CLE
The Browns expect Ford to work as their change of pace back in Week 9.
Jerome Tracy, NYG
He’s cleared concussion protocol, so I slightly upgraded his outlook this week.
Jordan Love, GB, and Puka Nacua, LAR, are expected to play this week.
