2024 NFL Sunday Week 17 Update

I updated the projections this morning.

2024 NFL Week 17 Depth Charts, Projections, and Cheat Sheets (Updated ~ 12/29 @ 10:00 AM)

Anthony Richardson, IND, Tony Pollard, TEN, and Tua Tagovailoa, MIA won’t play in Week 17. Tajae Spears and Joe Flacco received upgrades. I don’t trust Tyler Huntley at all starting for the Dolphins, and Jaylen Waddle won’t suit up. The Packers confirmed that Christian Watson is out vs. Minnesota, a win for Dontayvion Wicks.

Lot of rain expected today:

NYJ @ Buffalo: 74% - 54 degrees

TEN @ JAC: 97% ~ 73 degrees

IND @ NYG: 9% ~ 52 degrees

DAL @ PHI: 13% ~ 61 degrees

CAR @ TB: 72% ~ 75 degrees

MIA @ CLE: 26% ~ 62 degrees

ATL @ WAS: 84% ~ 58 degrees

Here is my parlay for DraftKings in Week 17:

With only nine games left on the NFL schedule in Week 17 and rain a factor in mutiple games, I decided to target the receiving yards for running backs in four legs of my parlay. I’m hoping to hit on the low end, while understanding that four big receiving days by backs is unlikely.

Jahmyr Gibbs - Most of the running back show for the Lions and this game should have some scoring. Detroit has gained 45 yards or more in six consecutive games by their running backs (83 and 45 by Gibbs over his previous two matchups).

Breece Hall - Buffalo allows the most receiving yards (714) to running backs, and a chaser game should give Hall more targets.

Saquon Barkley - The Eagles don’t feature their running backs in the passing game, but Barkley can make big plays. If he gets two catches, he should reach at least 12 receiving yards.

Bijan Robinson - He averages over 28 recieving yards per game (five games with 40+ yards) and the rain could help him hit on a big play via a catch. The change in quarterback is a factor in his lower over/under total in receiving yards in this game.
