Arizona Diamondbacks

Paul Sewald picked up three saves over the past week when he tossed three no-hit shutout innings with four strikeouts. His scoreless streak stands at 9.1 innings while converting all seven save chances on the year. Justin Martinez has been a beast since the start of May (no runs over 15.2 innings with 12 hits, seven walks, and 21 strikeouts). Kevin Ginkel earned a win in all three appearances in June (3.2 shutout innings with one strikeout).

Atlanta Braves

Heading into Friday night, Raisel Iglesias has a save in six consecutive games, leading to one run over six innings with one hit, no walks, and five strikeouts. He is 16-for-18 in closing opportunities. Joe Jimenez pitched well over his last six innings (no runs, four baserunners, and eight strikeouts).

Baltimore Orioles

Since his demotion to a set-up role, Craig Kimbrel has regained his form by not giving up a run over nine innings with two hits, 10 strikeouts, a win, and six saves. He has 14 saves in his 17 opportunities. Yennier Cano is trending upward over his previous seven appearances (no runs, five baserunners, and four strikeouts).

Boston Red Sox

The Red Sox called on Kenley Jansen only once over the past 12 days. His arm has been trending upward over his previous 12.0 innings (3.00 ERA, 0.9167 WHIP, a win, and five saves). He has nine saves in his 10 tries. With Chris Martin placed on the injured list, Justin Slaten could be next in line for saves in Boston. His shutout run stands at 5.2 innings with no walks and nine strikeouts. Since May 1st, Greg Weissert allowed seven runs, 20 baserunners, and 16 strikeouts over 14.2 innings.

Chicago Cubs

Hector Neris has been on a strange, relieving path since the start of May. Over his 13 appearances, he has five wins, four saves, and a blown save while posting a 2.08 ERA, 1.308 WHIP, and 10 strikeouts over 13.0 innings. He already has six wins while converting eight of his 10 save chances. Hayden Wesneski allowed a run or more in four of his previous seven matchups, leading to a 7.50 ERA, four home runs, and nine strikeouts over six innings. Mark Leiter gave up seven runs and eight baserunners over his last 3.1 innings with six strikeouts.
